Many more people with good ideas should consider starting their own business—and women, in particular, are encouraged to do so. Yet many aspiring entrepreneurs, both men and women, don’t give enough thought to their launch. This is evident from the experience of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s startup advisors. Careful planning, along with comprehensive advice and information, is crucial to a company’s success during the start-up phase.

The IHK Ulm StarterCenter aims to provide expert support to aspiring entrepreneurs in launching a successful business. The event is designed for entrepreneurs both during the preparatory phase and after they have launched their business.
Eight presentations and workshops will provide practical information on many important aspects of self-employment. For example, participants will learn how to create a compelling business plan, which marketing strategies are most promising, what funding opportunities are available to entrepreneurs, how to finance their business idea, and what social security coverage is necessary. Participants can choose exactly which program items are relevant to their startup plans.
Exchanging experiences during the breaks provides an opportunity to gain new ideas and inspiration for your own project and to network with other founders.
The participation fee is 25.00 euros.
