Founders in front of TV cameras, hosts armed with microphones, and phrases like “Quiet, please—we’re filming!” You could experience all of this recently here at the Gründerzentrum. The reason was a TV crew from RegioTV that was visiting us.
TV producer Kathrin Adamski and her cameraman Maik Weber filmed a report covering the TFU’s responsibilities and the assistance it provides. Our founders also had their say. Dr. Kohn from Langcor and Dr. Süße from DC Drogencheck appeared on camera.

Together with Managing Director Ulrike Hudelmaier, we discussed the obstacles that entrepreneurs must overcome and how TFU can help them get their businesses off to a successful start.

Filming then continued at our “BiochtechnologieZentrum” location on Sedanstrasse. There, Dr. Silke Süße and her team were filmed going about their “normal” workday in the lab. Our Arina Ingendorf not only had to demonstrate her acting skills as an extra, but she also had to “lose” some hair (though it only looked that way—a strand of someone else’s hair had been “worked into” her hair beforehand). This demonstrated how hair must be prepared for a hair analysis test for drugs or alcohol.
Our entire team and Dr. Kohn “launched” the TFU kite on camera—using a string to hoist it from the first floor. This fit perfectly with the shoot’s theme: “When business ideas learn to fly.”

For those interested in the full segment: The program will air on Sunday, June 28, 2015, on RegioTV. Of course, we’ll also post the segment on our website as soon as we have it.
