Resilient in Times of Crisis Through Digital Connectivity: Dialogue Forum at the TFU Innovationszentrum

On October 22, 2026, the dialogue forum “Crisis-Resilient Through Digital Networking—Thinking Collectively About Digitalization, Volunteerism, and Civil Protection” took place at the TFU Innovationszentrum in Ulm.

The event, organized by Day4Solutions, brought together experts from government, fire departments, IT, and the volunteer sector. The focus was on how digital solutions and improved collaboration can strengthen civil protection in the region.

For Ulm, Neu-Ulm, and the Alb-Donau district in particular, strong coordination is crucial for responding quickly and in a coordinated manner to extreme weather, power outages, or other crises. A reliable exchange of information between government agencies, control centers, fire departments, and volunteers can help improve emergency response procedures and enhance public safety.

The bottom line: The event underscored how important regional cooperation, digital innovation, and volunteerism are for a resilient region. The TFU Innovationszentrum provided a platform for exchange and networking.
