The state of Baden-Württemberg is building on its experience with pre-seed early-stage financing and expanding the program to help older startups as well.
With the Start-up BW Pro-tect initiative, the program is being expanded by 25 million to provide assistance where promising startups are at risk of falling victim to the crisis—for example, because funding rounds have fallen through or are taking longer than expected, because orders are drying up, or because suppliers are on short-time work.
It’s great that we’ve been working with Pre-Seed for the past year and were able to implement it successfully, because now everything is already running smoothly.
TFU remains on board as a partner. We are preparing for the inquiries and will do everything we can to assist you as quickly and competently as possible. The ministry is currently working with us and our partners in the state on the guidelines and will have the program up and running in a few days.
