Presentation of “Die TELLPROmotion” – Andrea Anders & Otto Dostal

When we met in 2003, we had both been working in sales for quite some time. Because we had worked on similar projects, we decided to start a company to tackle an upcoming major project together. After initially searching for suitable office space, we came across TFU.

At first, we were still working from home, but in the long run, we felt it was important to keep our personal and professional lives separate. We also wanted an environment with a professional atmosphere and proper infrastructure.

When we first started our own business, we certainly had to learn the hard way, and at times we faced some financial difficulties—for example, when clients failed to make payments—but as we moved from project to project, we gained more and more experience and got better and better through “trial and error.”

TFU has always supported us in our work with advice and practical assistance. We’ve always worked together to develop flexible solutions, which we’ve been happy to take advantage of. We’ve also benefited from the contacts here at the Gründerzentrum; for practically every interesting project, there’s someone in-house with whom we can collaborate.

The best part of our work is that it’s always exciting and varied, that we can set our own flexible schedules, and that we can come up with and implement our own ideas. Over the years, we’ve learned to constantly find new ways to motivate ourselves and adapt to the ever-changing market. This has allowed us to build a great team and improve our network year after year.

Our advice to anyone looking to start a business: Make sure you have a good tax advisor and research insurance, taxes, and all the costs you’ll face in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
…and don’t be afraid to ask for help!
