Starting a business isn’t exactly anything new, just because we’re blogging about it now. But maybe this way we’ll reach a few people who want to explore the topic further.
We, the TFU, are one of approximately 420 business incubators in Germany. These incubators actually manage to help over 90% of startups survive their first five years.
Wow.
Otherwise, the success rate is only between 50 and 70 percent, depending on the industry.
Of course, this high success rate is primarily due to the founders themselves, who actively seek out the necessary support through “their” business incubators. But that support has to be available in the first place, and that’s what’s great about Germany: business incubators have been around here for almost three decades. So there’s plenty of experience to draw on.
TFU is one of the oldest centers, having been founded back in 1985. We are constantly evolving. One thing remains the same: working with “our” founders is incredibly enjoyable, and we firmly believe it is extremely meaningful.
