From the 3rd China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition, Berlin, German Division. In cooperation with the DIHK at the Haus der Deutschen Wirtschaft.
It is a great honor for us to be part of the jury here. The pitches are about to begin.
After rounds of 2 x 8 and 1 x 4 pitches, each lasting 10 minutes (6 for the pitch, 4 for questions), which the jury evaluated while sitting on bar stools, the winners have been determined. The pitches were delivered by both young and already successful startups in the fields of technology, biotechnology, and digital. From each of the 5 categories, the top 2 will advance to Shenzhen for the final round. In addition—with some overlap—there are 3 third-place winners, 2 second-place winners, and one first-place winner.
And when the jury joins them on stage, it gets pretty crowded.
Next year, a startup from our region will win—or at least make it to the finals, right?!
