Dear Startups,
It’s a difficult time, no question about it. All of a sudden, everything has changed, and we’re flying by sight.
It’s very difficult to keep track of everything. A really good podcast produced by NDR with Prof. Christian Drosten—about 30 minutes every day—helps me with that. Drosten is the head of virology at Charité in Berlin and has been a SARS expert from the very beginning (back in 2003; after all, this is also a SARS variant). In an independent and level-headed manner, he explains the current state of knowledge and new findings, occasionally corrects himself, and provides guidance on how to form an opinion about necessary measures in specific situations.
After all, decisions have to be made—many of them under conditions of high uncertainty. Leave out any information that isn’t absolutely reliable—it only causes confusion. Get your information from the Robert Koch Institute and, for example, Drosten; brush up on exponential functions again—and act in a way that will make the experts proud of you.
We’re in this together. Use us as a sounding board, share your ideas, and ask us and the other TFU companies any questions you may have. The TFU team sends out a newsletter to all partner companies with updates on current measures, including information on available support, and we’re here to provide personalized advice.
There’s no other way to make this happen! Together!
