Read an interview here with “our” Professor Gerhard Kongehl, who trains data protection experts through his company, udis, and is based at the TFU Gründerzentrum in Neu-Ulm.

TFU: Professor Kongehl, you have been working as a data protection expert for over 30 years and founded the company udis more than 25 years ago. Congratulations! At udis, you train experts using the Ulm Model. I assume these are professionals from larger companies?

GK: Thank you for the congratulations; we’ve really invested a lot of time and effort into this important issue. But your assumption is wrong: Data protection isn’t just a concern for larger companies. More than 70% of the trainees at udis come from small and medium-sized businesses!

Many startup projects receive good advice, for example, from consultants funded by RKW or KfW. You pay a portion of the cost yourself and receive significant support. But did you know that this investment can also help you secure financing?

If you are looking for financing of up to EUR 100,000 for a business that is no more than 3 years old and meets the eligibility criteria for certain subsidized loans, Grenke Bank’s offer may be of interest to you.

Dear TFU Tenants, District Administrator Heinz SEiffet_RGB_MW25431

From the very beginning, the Alb-Donau District has been a shareholder in TFU. And for good reason: We—the districts, cities, and municipalities in the region—need an organization like TFU that offers young companies and entrepreneurs a launchpad and a foundation for a successful future.
