5th floor, near the Friedensbrücke: parkbob. Last-mile mobility solutions.
Next stop: Talent Garden with pioneers—solving the world’s problems through innovation.

Since 2009, boot camps and networking events in 40 European cities; later, the Pioneers Festival: a curated event with 2,500 registered participants at the Hofburg. Since 2018, a one-stop platform for tech innovators.
Taken from Startup 300 (see Linz yesterday; a business angel group that wants to invest in the community: “pay forward to give back”). The Pioneers Festival has since been discontinued—end of life cycle.

Interesting: “Chasing the unicorn” doesn’t work in Europe; solid companies are a good outcome, too.
Lunch at the talent garden. Spinach with an egg. Delicious.

Wikifolio. An investment platform for and by private investors.
By the way, today’s theme is “Vienna on Foot.” It’s working out great—you get to see more that way. From the 1st to the 9th district, then back to the 1st district via three stops.
Next stop: Bikemap.
Goal: Build a Google bike navigation app…

Now we’ve walked to the next stop (there are quite a few today! Thanks, team and Laura!), WeXelerate, a large incubator.

Here at Speedinvest, where some people will also be pitching.

Austrian roots, European player. “Chasing unicorns with a limited supply of silver bullets.”
A few people are still giving their pitches, and then bw-i will host a buffet at the weXelerate building. Thank you.
It’s time for the night tours of Vienna, and the opening songs on the bus give us a hint of what’s to come. But let’s let the participants tell the story themselves…
