Dear entrepreneurs, dear teams,
An unusual year is coming to an end. Thanks to the efforts of you, our partner companies at the facilities, and our team, we have been able to prevent any COVID-19 cases so far. We thank you very much for your consideration and caution, and hope that you will be able to enjoy a carefree Christmas with your families.
In this context, we echo the appeal made by the federal and state governments: if we all strictly adhere to the contact restrictions for 5–7 days leading up to the holiday, we’ll reduce the risks for everyone in high-risk groups and be able to celebrate Christmas with our loved ones in a much more relaxed atmosphere.
The TFU team has therefore coordinated its efforts to ensure that your time at TFU is as contact-free as possible.
From December 21 through December 23 and on January 7 and 8, 2021, we’ll be on site at the facilities on a rotating shift schedule, but we’ll close them to the public as much as possible.
We’re preparing the year-end closing and getting ready for the start of the new year—you know how it is, there’s always a lot to do, and it’s best to stay focused, so this works out perfectly 😉
We’re still here for you. However, please contact us by phone or email during this time. The front desk will be unstaffed, and we’ll be closing the doors to the Start-up Lounge and the service offices. Mail will, of course, be handled from December 21–23 and on January 7 and 8, 2021, but we’d like to try to do so without in-person meetings.
As it does every year, TFU will be on Christmas break from December 24, 2020, through January 6, 2021 (both dates inclusive). Some of you—and some of us—won’t be able to resist continuing to work on your favorite projects, but we’ll do so while fully savoring the peace and quiet of the “between-the-years” period—one of my personal favorite times of the year. I wish you all the very best in your creative endeavors.
If you have any foreseeable orders for our team starting on December 21 or would like to coordinate your operations with us, please contact us now. We’re sure we’ll find solutions so that you can enjoy a merry Christmas.
Best regards
Ulrike Hudelmaier
P.S.: If you still need pool testing for yourself or your teams because you’re not entirely sure what the infection situation is, you can still arrange it through us. We’ll announce the deadline for submissions shortly.
