Technology and startup hubs also want to have a voice in policy-making. They have to! Otherwise, the concerns of “our” founders will be overlooked.
Armed with this resolve, the executive board of the Association of Technology and Startup Centers in Baden-Württemberg—including Ulrike Hudelmaier and Arina Ingendorf from TFU—traveled to Brussels and met with high-level representatives.
Topics included Industry 4.0—discussed directly with Commissioner Öttinger and the Academy of Technical Sciences—the role of the state and the Stuttgart region, and an insight into the work of the Parliament, using MEP Theurer as an example.
