Take this opportunity to meet “everyone” in one evening!
For this year’s “Evening of Research” on June 24, 2015, companies, associations, and institutions interested in research and collaboration are once again invited to Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU). The registration deadline for participating in the “Evening of Research” was Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
Companies and institutions interested in research can engage in one-on-one discussions with HNU professors at the Evening of Research and Knowledge Transfer and initiate joint projects on current topics. This year’s focus is on “digitalization.” In addition to topics such as digitalization in marketing/sales and among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), project management using Scrum, and digital storytelling, there will also be panel discussions and forums on employer branding as well as risk and resource management.
A new feature is the best-practice presentation, which illustrates the collaboration between academia and industry. In addition, representatives from the Swabian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Schwaben), the Ulm Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Ulm), and Bayern Innovativ Gesellschaft für Innovation und Wissenstransfer mbH will offer “innovation vouchers” for new projects and ideas. During the “Evening of Research,” guests will learn about HNU’s academic profile and the subject-matter expertise of its professors. Through discussion panels, forums, presentations, and one-on-one consultations, participants will gain insights into specialized topics, forms of collaboration, and funding opportunities for projects. “By collaborating with HNU, companies can strengthen their competitiveness—for example, by incorporating scientific expertise at an early stage,” said Prof. Dr. Elmar Steurer, Vice President for Research.
