“A good start is half the battle.” That’s a proverb from Xunmeng Ying’s homeland. The 26-year-old Chinese national got off to a good start at the Neu-Ulm District Office. He is the new economic affairs officer for the Neu-Ulm district and thus the successor to Monika Stadler, who is set to become the new head of the district audit office (Internal Audit).

As chair of the TFU shareholders’ meeting, I am pleased that you are taking advantage of the services offered by the Ulm/Neu-Ulm Region Gründerzentrum. I am impressed that more than 90% of these young companies make it through their first five years and successfully establish themselves.

This success is good for our region, and that is why we, the municipal shareholders, support our TFU. A Gründerzentrum is a sustainable form of economic development.
