For the third time, a sort of annual “family reunion” is currently taking place for all those who work in the field of startup support in the state and are in contact with ifex.
ifex, the Initiative for Business Start-ups and Business Succession, is part of the Ministry of Finance and Economics of the State of Baden-Württemberg and has been actively engaged in its work for 21 years. Many people will be familiar with Professor Peter Schäfer, who is also a welcome guest in Ulm and has led ifex since its inception.
From the question of whether the business plan is dead to reflections on what drives the current generation of founders (and whether such a generation even exists), current topics are discussed openly and critically. The Association of Technology and Startup Centers in Baden-Württemberg is participating in a panel discussion this morning that will address the question of whether and how accelerators are useful.
As with almost all networking events, one thing is particularly important to everyone involved: enough breaks to make plans and kick off collaborations. Coffee will be served shortly!
