The “Elevator Pitch BW”—the successful statewide competition series held as part of the Baden-Württemberg Startup Initiative—is continuing. In Ulm, the Regional Cup will take place on February 19 during Startup Day 2016. Applications are now being accepted!
Baden-Württemberg is once again looking for the best entrepreneurs!
Convincing an audience of your business idea in three minutes – that’s the goal of an elevator pitch. As part of its start-up initiative, the Ministry of Finance and Economics has launched the successful statewide competition series “ Elevator Pitch BW “ for the third time.
Through this innovative competition format, the state government aims to give startups and entrepreneurs from Baden-Württemberg the opportunity to present their business ideas to a wider audience, thereby potentially attracting the attention of business partners and investors and, if successful, taking home a cash prize.
Regional Cup on February 19, 2016, in Ulm
On February 19th, at the Ulm Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s (IHK Ulm) Founders’ Day 2016, the “ Elevator Pitch BW – Regional Cup Ulm “ will take place. Ten young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to convince a jury and the audience within three minutes with an informative and concise short presentation of their business idea.
The winner of this regional preliminary round will receive prize money of 500 euros and qualify for the state finals this summer. There is up to 3,000 euros to be won there. The business idea that places second will win 300 euros, and the one that places third will win 200 euros. In addition, the audience can vote to select a “People’s Choice” winner.
Local partners include the Ulm Startup Network (the University of Ulm, Ulm University of Applied Sciences, and the Ulm Chamber of Commerce and Industry), the Ulm Chamber of Crafts, and the TFU, the startup and technology center for the Ulm/Neu-Ulm region.
Applications are now being accepted!
