A Personal Perspective: 50 Years of the Oregon Study Center

An organization that is very important to me and many other students is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The exchange program between Oregon and Baden-Württemberg has had a significant impact and helped its scholarship recipients broaden their horizons. And improve their English.

The president of the University of Tübingen, Prof. Engler, is welcomed. Wearing the chain of office.

I look back with gratitude on my two years at the University of Oregon. It’s also my anniversary—my 30th. Unbelievable.

Here, the current exchange student group is debating whether Oregon or Baden-Württemberg is better. The result: both!

There’s also a cake—shaped like Oregon. It’s simpler than the outline of Baden-Württemberg.
