In line with Transporeon’s mission to become the leading logistics provider committed to sustainability, we are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Transporeon Hackathon, which supports the ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovations by Cooperation in Europe) Roadmap for decarbonization.
This technology challenge invites college students and Transporeon employees to work together to tackle the ultimate challenges facing the logistics industry—and the planet—today. All you need to apply is a passion for logistics and a desire to bring about real change.
This hackathon was designed to foster innovation and discover the next generation of sustainable solutions in supply chain technology. Carefully selected teams of six people (two students and four Transporeon employees) will tackle five sustainability challenges that have been identified as high priorities. The task: to pitch a viable business solution that has the potential to generate added value for the industry.
The teams will compete before a panel of experts, and Transporeon will support up to five ideas in implementing their go-to-market strategy. The winners will also receive a fully paid trip to meet with representatives in Brussels and pitch their ideas to them. In addition, outstanding students participating in the program will receive a paid internship at Transporeon and the opportunity to write their master’s thesis at Transporeon. Everyone who participates will receive a certificate of distinction.
