Young technology startups from Baden-Württemberg with innovative business concepts can once again apply for the CyberOne Hightech Award through May 28, 2021. In the three categories—Industrial Technologies, Life Sciences & Healthcare, and ICT & Media and Creative Industries—finalists will each receive cash prizes and attractive non-cash prizes, as well as access to a unique network of potential investors and business partners.

Since 1998, the CyberOne High-Tech Award has been presented to technology-oriented startups and companies from Baden-Württemberg for their forward-looking business concepts. In 2021, the award is once again seeking innovative startups from all technology sectors. We are looking for concepts with a high degree of innovation that have the potential to set new standards and revolutionize markets.

CyberOne has a strong regional focus, so we are looking for companies that are headquartered in Baden-Württemberg or in neighboring economic regions, or that plan to establish a business in Baden-Württemberg. Cash and in-kind prizes worth approximately 100,000 euros await the successful participants. Participating in the competition benefits more than just the prize winners. All participants gain contacts and expertise for their own businesses, receive expert feedback from the jury, and are granted a one-year guest membership with bwcon. In addition, the finalist teams receive intensive coaching through the Entrepreneurship School to prepare for the final pitch, access to relevant companies and investors in their industry, cash and in-kind prizes, and visibility beyond the bwcon network.

The awards ceremony at the Hightech Summit Baden-Württemberg is the main highlight and, with around 1,000 guests, a gathering of representatives from business, politics, and research. The 2021 Hightech Summit, featuring the CyberOne Hightech Awards ceremony, will take place on October 19, 2021, at the Hospitalhof in Stuttgart. Save the date—registration will open soon!
