Together with the City of Ulm and a specialized company, we planned the necessary systems.   <!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\">The task was to enclose the rather large units with a steel structure and line them with suitable soundproofing mats.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/CIMG2980.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-753\" alt=\"CIMG2980\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/CIMG2980-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"436\" height=\"327\"><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\">Delivery of the partially completed sound barriers began on Monday, March 10, 2014.  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\">Airbus Defence and Space (EADS) provided spaces for the crane and for the installation of the large soundproof walls.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/CIMG3012.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-755\" alt=\"CIMG3012\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/CIMG3012-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"457\" height=\"342\"><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Courier New'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: DE;\">Three days later, all the parts were on the roof. Final assembly on the roof is now underway.
