To provide expert support to aspiring entrepreneurs in launching a successful business\u2014that is the goal of the Ulm Chamber of Industry and Commerce\u2019s Startup Day on Friday, February 19, 2016.<\/p>\n

Starting your own business offers very exciting opportunities for motivated people with good ideas. However, careful planning and comprehensive advice and information are crucial to a business\u2019s success during the startup phase. <\/p>\n

\n<\/b>The IHK Ulm StarterCenter aims to provide expert support to aspiring entrepreneurs in launching a successful business. You can find more information here<\/a> <\/p>\n

The event is aimed at entrepreneurs, both those in the planning stages and those who have already launched their businesses.<\/p>\n

Through 6 presentations and workshops<\/b>, you\u2019ll gain practical information on many important aspects of self-employment. For example, you\u2019ll learn how to create a compelling business plan, which marketing strategies are most promising, what funding opportunities are available to entrepreneurs, how to finance your business idea, and what social security coverage is required. You can choose exactly which program items are relevant to your startup project. <\/p>\n

As part of a statewide competition series, the \u201cElevator Pitch BW \u2013 Regional Cup Ulm\u201d <\/b>will take place <\/b>for the third time during Startup Day. Ten entrepreneurs will have the chance to convince a jury and the audience with a three-minute presentation of their business idea. The three winners will receive prize money of 500, 300, and 200 euros, respectively. More information about the Elevator Pitch is available here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

During the breaks, the opportunity to share experiences<\/b> provides a great chance to network with other founders and gain new ideas and inspiration for your own project.<\/p>\n
