<\/a>\u201cA good start is half the battle.\u201d That\u2019s a proverb from Xunmeng Ying\u2019s homeland. The 26-year-old Chinese national got off to a good start at the Neu-Ulm District Office. He is the new economic affairs officer for the Neu-Ulm district and thus the successor to Monika Stadler, who is set to become the new head of the district audit office (Internal Audit). She is currently still serving as deputy to Walter Mang, who will retire on April 30, 2014. <\/p>\n
Xunmeng Ying, who not only speaks German very well, was selected from among numerous applicants for the position in the \u201cEconomic and Tourism Development\u201d department. \u201cMr. Ying is ideally qualified for his future role and meets all the requirements listed in the job posting,\u201d explains District Administrator Ge\u00dfner. <\/p>\n
Ying, who hails from Huainan, a city of 2.3 million in central China, studied International Economics and Trade at Hefei University from 2005 to 2009. He completed the program with a bachelor\u2019s degree. In 2009, he came to Germany and completed a master\u2019s degree in Regional Management and Economic Development at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK) in G\u00f6ttingen, Lower Saxony. In 2012, he completed his second degree with his master\u2019s thesis titled \u201cBusiness Location Management\u2014A Study Based on the Example of Chinese Investment Projects in Germany.\u201d Ying gained practical experience at the German-Asian Institute for Business Location Management in Hanover. <\/p>\n
So now he is working for the Neu-Ulm district. On his first day on the job, he took the oath of office, thereby taking the first step toward a successful collaboration. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
