It\u2019s very difficult to keep track of everything. A really good podcast produced by NDR with Prof. Christian Drosten\u2014about 30 minutes every day\u2014helps me with that. Drosten is the head of virology at Charit\u00e9 in Berlin and has been a SARS expert from the very beginning (back in 2003; after all, this is also a SARS variant). In an independent and level-headed manner, he explains the current state of knowledge and new findings, occasionally corrects himself, and provides guidance on how to form an opinion about necessary measures in specific situations. <\/p>\n\n
After all, decisions have to be made\u2014many of them under conditions of high uncertainty. Leave out any information that isn\u2019t absolutely reliable\u2014it only causes confusion. Get your information from the Robert Koch Institute and, for example, Drosten; brush up on exponential functions again\u2014and act in a way that will make the experts proud of you. <\/p>\n\n
