This time at the Test-Test-Contest in Ulm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Startup from the Biotechnology Center Wins First Berbling Innovation Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Rose-Preis-201106-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3237\"\/><figcaption>Sascha and Philip Rose in their lab at BioZ with their trophies from the first Berblinger Innovation Competition<br\/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Young engineers Philip and Sascha Rose have won the first Berbling Innovation Award, the \u201cTest-Test-Contest,\u201d with their Roko Farming project!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The twins, who have rented a lab at BioZ, are developing a system for the fully automated and continuous cultivation of plants such as lettuce and herbs. The first prototypes have been built and tested since the beginning of the year. The results are promising, as they have already been able to harvest their first small crops.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sasha Rose is thrilled: &#8220;The prize money is \u20ac15,000, after all, and on top of that, we raised another \u20ac7,200 through a crowdfunding campaign during the competition.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The next milestone is building a larger pilot plant with up to seven levels on a footprint of 10 m\u00b2\u2014we&#8217;re getting started on that now,&#8221; says Philip Rose.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Guys, the whole TFU is proud of you, and we all offer our heartfelt congratulations!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Startup from the Biotechnology Center Wins First Berbling Innovation &#8230; <\/p>\n<p class=\"read-more-container\"><a title=\"Even more winners!
